Tomorrow island Grand Prize Winner

TOMORROW ISLAND is the Grand Prize Winner of the 5th Annual Stage 32 Short Film Program.

As part of the award, the short film will be screening in the Stage 32 Short Film Program at the 2020 Hollyshorts Film Festival, the 2020 Raindance Film Festival and the 2020 Austin Film Festival.

Tomorrow island is part of the program called Herstories. It is a selection of stories that reflect on and explore our beautiful and diverse herstory. Tomorrow island will screen in LA this August 4th-30th as part of the Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival.

LADFF provides filmmakers, actors, and stories of diverse backgrounds with a place to showcase their voice without judgment or insincere reflection; free of stereotypes and degradation.

This year, amid Covid-19, the festival goes online.

Flixa is an Australian based not for profit offering global streaming services that promote and support female film makers to create a positive change in the film industry.

Flixa offers a monthly subscription based service to access hundreds of high quality shorts, features, documentaries from all around the world.

Tomorrow island and The two halves are available in OctubreTV as part of the special program designed by Bendita Tu Film Festival.

The two short films will stream online at the Argentinian VOD platform through all July.

Tomorrow island has been nominated for Best Film, Best Short Film, Best Director (Gwenn Joyaux), Best Screenplay (Ana Falcon), Best Cinematography (Michael Tebinka), Best Film Editing (Abdallah Sada), Best Sound Design (Gabriel Solis), Best Actrees (Daryna Butryk) and Best Supporting Actrees (Mira Gaydarova) at the Intercontinental Film Festival.

ICFF’s is the home to films from all background, a showcase of the best artists. Due to Covid-19 outbreak the new date for the festival is yet to confirm.
